MANILA, Philippines — Bishop Teodoro Buhain Jr., Manila Archdiocese’s retired auxiliary bishop, died in San Juan City on Wednesday morning.
According to a report by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) News, the 87-year-old retired bishop passed away around 11 a.m. at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City.

Before his retirement, Buhain served as a priest and bishop for 63 years and 41 years, respectively.
