MANILA, Philippines — Classes were suspended in some parts of Luzon on Wednesday, November 13, due to Typhoon Ofel (international name: Usagi).
Based on the state weather bureau’s 5 a.m. bulletin, six Luzon areas were placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 as Ofel intensified Wednesday morning.
Article continues after this advertisementOfel was last spotted some 476 kilometers (km) east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, or 595 km east of Daet, Camarines Norte.
