MANILAc88 game, Philippines — The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has restored its baggage handling system in time for the expected surge of travelers for Undas starting this weekend.

Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific said yesterday the baggage handling procedure at the NAIA Terminal 3 is back to normal after the system broke down for nearly a week to the inconvenience of travelers.

At the peak of the malfunction on Oct. 20, more than 400 passengers of Cebu Pacific arrived at their destinations without their check-in luggage.

Cebu Pacific said it has delivered 90 percent of the baggage to their owners.

The airline announced that all check-in luggage would be processed as usual, unlike in the past days when these were handled manually.

Cebu Pacific credited the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) for responding quickly to the baggage handling malfunction.

The airline reiterated its support for the NNIC for undertaking the P170.6-billion rehabilitation of the country’s main gateway, considered as one of worst airports in the world.

“Looking aheadc88 game, Cebu Pacific is optimistic about NNIC’s commitment to enhancing the airport’s infrastructure and making further improvements,” the airline said.
